These handmade Frozen Pond Coasters are created using my Frozen Pond glazing technique, producing beautiful organic patterns that make every single coaster completely unique. No two have developed quite the same way in the kiln, with variations in blues, creams, warm earthy tones and intricate crystalline-style patterns across their surfaces.

They look fabulous mixed and matched, so you can create your own completely individual set, choose several with a similar look, or simply pick one favourite. There are just 14 coasters remaining from this collection, and each one is individually photographed so you can select the exact coaster you would like from the options available.

Each coaster has three small cork pads on the reverse to help protect your furniture and worktops. The pads also allow the coasters to sit securely and stack neatly on top of one another without slipping.

Approximate Size
• Diameter: 9cm
• Depth including cork pads: 7mm
• Weight: 80g each

£8 each

Handmade individually, the slight differences in shape, glaze pattern and finish are all part of their character. Choose one as a little piece of functional art, select a matching mini set, or have fun creating your own mix-and-match collection from the remaining designs.

Once these 14 have gone, this particular collection is gone too.

Price is for one piece only and is for the piece pictured.

All these items are handmade either on Jeanette’s pottery wheel, hand built or a combination of both, all hand glazed by Jeanette with 100% love.

As they are handmade no pieces are the same and may have slight flaws or imperfections in the shape or glazing details. This is what makes them one of a kind, just like the person who will be using them.

The pictured piece is the best Jeanette could capture with her camera. Please take into consideration, this piece may look different if you are in different lighting.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I put your pottery in a dishwasher?

Yes, our pottery is made from high-quality stoneware clay and is fired at high temperatures, making it durable and suitable for dishwasher use. However, to preserve the finish and longevity of your pottery, we recommend washing it by hand whenever possible. Dishwashers may cause wear over time, especially with intricate glazes or decorations.

Is it OK to use your pottery in a microwave?

Yes, our pottery is microwave safe as it is made from high-quality stoneware clay and fired at high temperatures. However, we recommend avoiding sudden temperature changes, such as heating a piece straight from the fridge, as this could cause thermal shock and damage the pottery. Always ensure there are no metallic decorations on the piece before microwaving.

How are the sizes & capacities measured?

Sizes are measured externally at their widest points, including height and width, and do not include handles.

The capacity of a mug or tumbler is measured when filled to the brim. Since everyone uses a mug differently, this method provides a consistent basis for comparison. To find your ideal size, fill your favourite mug to the brim, measure its capacity, and use that as a guide when selecting.

    How much does shipping cost?

We calculate shipping costs based on the weight of your items. This ensures you only pay for what you're shipping, making it fair and transparent for all our customers.

Every order comes with a tracking number. Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with your tracking information so you can monitor your package's journey to you.

What if my item arrives damaged?

We take utmost care to package your item so it can withstand normal delivery driver practices in sturdy packaging. In the unlikely event something does get broken, please get in touch within 5 days of receiving your order.

Send us pictures of the broken pottery and the packaging as you received it. We are happy to discuss options of a refund or a replacement if it’s possible.

    What is your return policy?

If you are unhappy with your pottery for any reason, you have 14 days after receipt of the item to return it to us for a refund.

To be eligible for a refund the item must be unused and reach us in the same condition it reached you. We cannot refund postage charges and you will be responsible for packaging the item and return postage by Royal Mail 2nd class signed for service. Please email for delivery address details.

    Are items food-safe?

Yes, all dinnerware items—such as mugs, cups, plates, bowls, and platters—are safe for eating and drinking. Any items intended for decorative purposes only and not food-safe will always be clearly noted in their product descriptions.

Can I use your pottery in the oven?

Unless otherwise specified, our pottery is not designed for oven use. Oven-safe pottery requires specialized clay and firing techniques, which are not applied to most of our items.

    Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide! Please note that you will be responsible for any applicable import taxes and duties in your country.

How is your pottery packaged for shipping?

Each piece is carefully wrapped in protective packaging and placed inside a sturdy cardboard sleeve. The items are then surrounded by biodegradable packaging peanuts within a double-walled cardboard box. This thorough packaging process ensures your pottery is well-protected and highly unlikely to be damaged during transit.

How long does it take to process and ship orders?

Jeanette aims to process and ship all orders within 2 to 3 working days of purchase.

Are tariffs for the United States included?

Due to recent changes in US import regulations, customs duty is now payable on many items arriving from overseas. To avoid parcels being delayed, held in customs, or charged higher fees on delivery, I use dynamic pricing and prepay the required duty on your behalf before your order ships.

This allows your parcel to clear customs more quickly and ensures the lowest possible duty rate, with no surprise charges when it arrives. The amount charged covers this cost in full.
